1 day flat water safety and rescue course PSRC
The British Canoeing Paddlesport Safety & Rescue Course (PSRC), replaces the old Foundation Safety and Rescue Training course and is the first step on the safety and rescue ladder and is intended for all paddlers, instructors, and volunteers. The aim is to be proficient in rescuing a range of craft (kayak, canoe, SUP), irrespective of discipline. It is available in either bank-based or boat-based options.
The training provides key skills needed to operate safely and deal with a range of common emergencies in a sheltered water environment. These skills then form the foundations for safety and rescue throughout the British Canoeing Awarding Body awards.
